For water quality, are you speaking about testing the potability of the water, or for other purposes, such as research use? CalOSHA has adopted a version of the ANSI Z 358.1, which, after much input by a number of larger Emergency Eyewash/shower users allows for other than weekly activation if some other programmatic approach and procedure is in place.
