The lab uses I125 and I had my meter on while I was chatting with the PI, making sure the records were up to date, etc. My meter was acting really squirrelly, clicking and chirping when it shouldn't be, just sitting on the counter. One of the lab techs joined our conversation and the PI asked how his procedure had gone. Come to find out, the tech had had a nuclear medicine scan that day, focussed on his mid-section and he was hotter than snot! Pegged my meter, held at his waist. He was pretty surprised, to say the least. So was I. I did recommend that he not hold his cat or his girlfriend on his lap for a day or so. The things I come across, I tell ya.
