Subject: RE: [DCHAS-L] Shorts and Skirts in Labs

I am in industry and we require lab coats, safety shoes and goggles in
all our labs. Skirts have been an issue for us because we work with
caustics. I wish there was a policy on not allowing skirts. Most of the
holes in our attire are due to acid on the bottom half of our pants
(where the lab coats don't cover) from acid. Bare legs are not a good
idea but its hard to enforce.
