I was talking to my Fisher rep yesterday and he said that if you order small amounts at a time, you can usually get it. That is, order 1 4L bottle rather than 8. He said some customers are having each lab in the facility order 1 each. Don't know if it will work for you, but might be worth a try. Also, as already said on the listserve, established customers are given priority.
The other thing that he told me is that they have 55 gallon containers sitting in the warehouse - I don't know if that is true or not. I guess if you can house and dispense that kind of quantity safely it would be worth the cost.

Acetonitrile is in short supply and one of our research groups is in the middle of a very important project that requires that we use an extensive amount of it. Does anyone have any extra bottles that they can spare? Please reply to me directly at lsheff**At_Symbol_Here**kcc.com.
