The county in which I work (Augusta County, Virginia) permit s my workplace (a college) to dispose of only “household waste” as n on-hazardous.  Therefore, we have to consider any solution with a measurable amount of CuS O4 to be hazardous waste.

Hello,

I am curious as to how others may be handling dilute solutions of cupric sulfate.  Do you drain dispose if it is a very low concentration? At what concentration would you consider managing this solution as hazardous waste?
