Tips:
1. Have floor drains if at all
possible. Check with your local/state EPA regarding this issue to
see if they restrict these.
3. Consider tempering units on any
installation. In the dead of winter, water that comes out of those
will be ice cold; you can search this list archives for past discussions
on this topic. Examples can be found at the bottom of the web page
I just listed.
4. For remote locations or where
people might be working alone, consider an alarm/strobe/siren that
activates when the unit is activated. Even if neither of these is
the case, a remote alarm capability can alert you to vandalism.
The water damage from a unit activated at night with nobody
knowing about it for hours will far exceed the expense of an
alarm!
