I was asked to disseminate this to the DCHAS list. CUHWC is the College and University Hazardous Waste Conference. We (University of Vermont) hosted it this previous summer, and there were many great presentations.

Subject: CUHWC 2013 Call For Papers

Hello everyone, and greetings from Charlottesville, Virginia!

Since the world didn't end back in December we need to start thinking about CUHWC 2013.  We have a fantastic lineup of activities planned already, including a trip to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and a reception at the cornerstone of his university, The Rotunda

There have been several requests made that vendors not present at the conference and the 2013 CUHWC Steering Committee is committed making that a reality.  In order for us to do that, however, we need your help.

Do you have a successful program that your peers could gain useful knowledge from?

Have you dealt with a situation that you learned a lot from and/or changed the way you operate as a result the of experience?

Do you have a really excellent war story?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions (or even if you didn't) we want to hear from you.

Your 2013 College and University Hazardous Waste Conference

Speakers who's accepted abstracts are submitted by the submission deadline of February 28, 2013, will receive a personalized speaker's gift.  (Those submitted after the deadline will receive the same gift, but not personalized)
