Stanford uses a centralized Learning Management System that was intended to centralize all institutionally required training, which is provided by over 12 different units on campus. The system is an adjunct to Oracle/PeopleSoft and has taken a lot of work and customization to be able to adapt to myriad requirements of how universities actually function and manage their people and associate training requirements.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] EHS Management Software
I’m canvassing the list to see what EHS management software you folks are using. I’m particularly interested in what academic institutions are using to track their training. If you use EHS Assist, you need not reply because that is the software we ideally want - however our IT department has put the kibosh on that one, saying they can’t support it because of the platform.
Thank you,

Information is a source of learning. But unless it is organized, processed, and available to the right people in a format for decision making, it is a burden, not a benefit. ~William Pollard
