Subject: Worker fatality map update

Hello everyone,

Your assistance in finding these data sources was extremely helpful:

* For 2014, 1,193 distinct events killing or injuring 3,514 workers have been documented & mapped in over 80 countries. 2014 data primarily comes from media sources & from crowd-sourced information.

* Using aggregated government sources & crowd-sourced information, 78,324 fatalities that occurred in 2012 and 8,849 fatalities in 2013 have been mapped. Additional government sources are still in the process of being mapped. You can view the maps here: http://www.globalworkerwatch.org/

Since the project started in late December 2013, people & organizations from over 20 countries have contributed data.

You can search 2014 data by country, industry, age, etc. here: http://www.globalworkerwatch.org/#!download/c1a8i Data for all 3 years can also be downloaded as a Google spreadsheet.

We are still just barely scratching the surface of this global problem.
