Sheila - yes, that is correct. Sometimes you'll see:

STOT-SE (Specific Target Organ Toxicity - Single Exposure)
STOT-RE (Specific Target Organ Toxicity - Repeated Exposure)

When I prepare SDSs, I usually spell it out.

I'm not sure about "new" but it is the one that is being used by several manufacturers.
