Our campus student safety committee is about to hold its first Lab Safety Fair. I would gladly put you in touch with the student who's coordinating the demonstrations if you like. The overall theme is to have demos that would be dangerous if done differently, so we can educate the audience about the safety strategies used. I'll be doing the Rainbow Experiment - with salt-treated cotton applicators and a plumber's torch instead of watch glasses full of methanol.


I know they've got about ten demos worked out.
