Dear D-CHAS Colleagues,
I would greatly appreciate advice on a project I hope to undertake soon.
I want to prepare a material that I hope will not (and should not, but might) form a highly temperamental explosive compound on standing. In order to test this possibility, I would like to store several very small samples. This will also allow me to test how long the material in question will retain its utility for its intended, non-explosive purpose.
How would you recommend that such samples be stored in a laboratory? I would also appreciate any guidance as to labeling and proper signage (bearing in mind that I do not wish to panic visitors to the lab).
Thank you very much,
Ben
