Reminder: EPA is Accepting Nominations for the 2017 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Awards through December 31, 2016
In 2017, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) plans to recognize landmark green chemistry technologies developed by industrial pioneers and leading scientists that turn climate risk and other environmental problems into business opportunities. EPA expects to give five awards for outstanding green chemistry technologies in traditional categories (Greener Synthetic Pathways, Greener Reaction Conditions, Greener Chemical Products, the Design of Greener Chemicals, Small Business, and Academic) and a sixth award for a green chemistry technology that addresses climate change.
The process is easy: you simply describe your innovation. A lengthy scientific paper is not necessary; in fact, page length is limited. Self-nominations are the most common; nominations of others are also welcomed.
