Ralph,

I generally find Aldrich's "Safety Information" listed on the chemical's website lacking, but that is probably because I'm often using their resources to manage wastes.

The SDS on that page indicates it is an aquatic toxin (with the GHS symbol). They list it as "not a dangerous good" for DOT, IATA, and IMDG transport (and it is not listed in the DOT's Hazardous Material Table (HMT), List of Marine Pollutants, or Reportable Quantity (RQ) list).

The SDS's PPE list appears to be pretty boilerplate for the level of hazards (note that the respiratory protection is slightly different):

Personal protective equipment
Eye/face protection
Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Skin protection
Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands.
Body Protection
Choose body protection in relation to its type, to the concentration and amount of dangerous substances, and to the specific work-place., The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Respiratory protection
Respiratory protection is not required. [My emphasis] Where protection from nuisance levels of dusts are desired, use type N95 (US) or type P1 (EN 143) dust masks.. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
Control of environmental exposure
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.

For random reasons, I'm reviewing an entry for Norbornane at

and the safety information provided states:

Safety Information
Personal Protective Equipment
Eyeshields, Gloves, type N95 (US), type P1 (EN143) respirator filter
RIDADR NONH for all modes of transport
WGK Germany 3

No GHS information is provided.

I wonder if anyone know what the significance of "RIDADR NONH for all modes of transport" is?
A little googling didn't produce any useful information.

Thanks for any help with this.
