And depending upon your license you can even set up breakout groups on zoom. I have been using it for awhile to deliver ITV classes.

Our campus uses Canvas as the instruction-management platform. It includes on-line learning and teleconferencing options. I'm told it's spectacularly expensive but very flexible and useful.

We also use Zoom for conference calls and collaboration. For small'ish groups (maybe 30 or less), it works pretty well. It's not super-intuitive but not super-complicated. There's a chat option (in addition to the typical conference call audio), attendance is tracked as people sign in to the online space, you can "share" your computer screen to present what you need to present. Zoom.com I use it quite a lot.

Then maybe you can point me in the right direction. I am also going to have to take this tack. I need a conferencing system that can do the following:

When the student calls in, they see slide # 1 of my powerpoint on their screen and I can hear their voice and talk to them. As each one signs in, we'll talk and I'll take attendance. Then we'll go slide by side through the power point, I'll explain the technical material and answer questions.. I've never done anything on line this way, but this is what I need. Ideas?

The last couple of days have been really crazy - and I am scrambling to make sure my folks have the resources to convert to virtual/online learning. Additionally, I know that the small businesses and others are doing the same thing.

I was wondering if should send out the links to our folks about the resources we have in place already.
