I have a document, Boston College Chemistry Department Safety Rules Enforcement Policy, that was part of my application to CSHEMA’s Solutions at Work Award (which we won). Send me an email directly (gail.hall**At_Symbol_Here**bc.edu)
with “Enforcement Policy” in the subject line and I will send you a copy.
It is a points (demerit) based system. Violations are assigned points values based on impact, and disciplinary measures are based on accumulated points. This was developed by our Chemistry Department Safety
Committee.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Disciplinary actions for graduate students for failure to wear appropriate PPE
Hello,
I am interested in learning about approaches folks are using to ensure that graduate researches comply with PPE policies. Most of the information out there stipulates that disciplinary actions will be taken against individuals who fail
to comply with gowning policies but such information doesn’t explicitly state the nature and type of disciplinary action.
Thanks
Keane
